My document upload is failing

Fix document upload failures caused by file size limits, unsupported formats, browser issues, or network problems.

Check the file

If a document will not upload, first check that the file is not unusually large and is in a common format.

• If possible, try using a PDF, JPG, or PNG version
• If the file is very large, try a smaller version first
• If it is a scanned document, try a lower-resolution copy

Try again in a different browser or window

Upload problems are sometimes caused by browser extensions, cached data, or an interrupted session.

• Disable ad blockers and privacy extensions temporarily
• Try uploading in a private/incognito window
• Switch to Chrome, Firefox, or Edge if you are using another browser
• Make sure your browser is up to date

Check your network connection

Uploads can fail on slow or unstable connections:

• Switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi if possible
• Move closer to your router
• Avoid uploading while on public Wi-Fi, as some networks block large file transfers
• If the upload stalls, wait a short time and try again
